Mini-Test #5: Electrostatics
Date of Mini-Test: March 1st
To prepare for the mini test you should know the following:
- Laws of static charge (attraction/repulsion)
- How to charge by friction, conduction and induction.
- Using the electrostatic series to predict charges of insulators.
- Uses and differences between insulators and conductors
- Electroscopes and how they work to show an object is charged.
Note: You will be supplied with a copy of the ELECTROSTATIC SERIES
(same one as in the textbook).
